A JASMINE IN TWILIGHT

Its yellow and red,
And dull and bright.
The sun rays wake up sleepily,
And en-cave the pale moonlight.

Amidst the dreamy world,
Lies a yawning jasmine.
Awaken from its sleep
By the gloomy shine.
The breeze blankets the flower bed,
As in some corner of the world,
A lover murmurs his beloved’s name
Unconscious in his sleep and turned.
The flower in a dismal haze,
Drinks in the early beauty of his home.
The first butterfly comes to give him company,
And fills in the beauty of which he is epitome.

None of them know what destiny has retained,
If they’d see each other tomorrow.
If the lover would pluck it as a gift to his love, (Or if it would rise in the same way as today.)
And hence without any grief or sorrow,
They look forward to the day,
And wait for the sun to shine bright.
Together the early butterfly,
And the first jasmine in twilight.
